日本での初めて撮影

After 3 ½ months of living in Japan, I finally had my first photoshoot!

As a freelance model, the biggest skill I think I have acquired is my networking skills—especially when searching for photographers, MUA, and stylists to work with.

Thankfully and luckily, I connected with an amazing photographer who perfectly understood my vision, Urata!

Since it had been a few months since I was last in front of the camera, I was both nervous and excited… but Urata and I worked exceedingly well together to execute the mood board I sent him, and I am ecstatic with how wonderful this shoot turned out.

Of course, it can be nerve-wracking to meet photographers for the first time, but the energy was so creative and professional—two artists in their element—that it revamped my fire for photo shoots.

When I received the photos after the shoot, which was extremely fast (the day after the shoot), I was fangirling to my friends because the pictures looked like magazine covers and movie stills (in my non-expert opinion).

Thank you Urata for capturing these now nostalgic shots!
